Dans le nid, à mon retour,
il y avait deux oisillons et un grand coucou,
trois paires d’ailes qui battaient l’air des Orchidées
dans des caquetages de jeunes moineaux.
Au début, je les ai pris sous mon aile,
mais bien vite ce sont elles qui m’ont fait prendre l’air.
Volons ensemble, proposais-je à la volée,
Depuis c’est ce que nous faisons,
Julie, Lucie et moi.

When I came back, in the nest,
there were two nestlings and a tall cuckoo,
three pairs of wings which beat the air of the Orchids
in a yakety-yak of young birds.
First, I took them under my wing,
but soon they give me some fresh air.
Fly together, I offer them on the fly
